Leishmaniasis is a disease caused by the bite of a sandfly. When the sandfly bites the parasite is passed on to the dog.
Unfortunately I am writting about some very sad news. Our lovely black labrador Rocky lost his fight against canine leishmaniasis.

Monday we went up Veleta 5 hour round trip. Bruno and Khumbu made it as well so they are knocking off the mountains well and truly.
Yes the time has arrived for the 15 month old bundle of energy (otherwise known as Khumbu) to take himself off on his own walk!
Today I went with Richard, a couple of clients from Spanish Highs and Khumbu into the snowy Sierra Nevada mountains. Its always an adventure whenever Khumbu is involved especially in the snow.
