This Water Rail was strutting his stuff along the boardwalk. It was much more obliging than the Marsh Harrier haha.
A Water Rail walking along a sun dappled boardwalk. The bird is side on to the camera with one big foot raised moving forward. The bird has a long redish beak, grey head and lower body, on the top is light brown with black flecks through the feathers.
