While out and about the other day we bumped into this beautiful female Kestrel. She was sat on top of a tree watching for potential food, which she spotted and flew off to try to catch, I lost sight of her.
A common Kestrel just about to take off from a tree. She is on the top of the tree with a blue sky behind. She has her wings out and legs are springing her forward.
